Having lived the real-world need for video content done right but more efficiently, Cat Toomey of CATalyzing Communications, Franklin Karp, of Franklin Karp & Co. and John Frattasi of Gusto Media, industry leader in video direction and video production, joined together and set off on an impassioned mission to make videos better, faster and more personalized for their industry. The trio had a vision to support technology integrators, manufacturers and the custom community in a whole new way, transforming their marketing assets through video, and helping them to tell their authentic story in the most exciting, visual way possible.

As SVP for Escient, she drove the brand from inception to through sale to D&M for $260M. John Frattasi, Co-Founder, VideoMojo and Principal, Gusto Media
John Frattasi is a leading, visionary NYC based video producer. He is the principal of Gusto Media, a creative studio specializing in dynamic, story-driven videos that are as impactful as they are beautiful. John has worked on projects across the world for clients ranging from farm-to-table food companies, technology start-ups, nonprofit / NGO organizations, and industry-leading electronics and technology brands. Prior to starting Gusto, John worked at an award-winning Metro NY Representative agency focused on upscale, luxury consumer electronics. This experience gained him valuable insight into the specialized marketing needs of both dealers and manufacturers, along with the architectural and design community. This unique industry perspective, along with his creative vision and expertise, have resulted in John producing more than 100 videos thus far for integrators and esteemed manufacturers such as Samsung, Lutron, Ketra, Planar, Leon, Meridian, and others. For VideoMojo, John leverages his vast experience to oversee all aspects of video concepting, creation, production and delivery to ensure full client satisfaction.

Franklin Karp has lived on the forefront of consumer electronics and technology sectors for decades, providing world-class leadership for integrators, manufacturers, buying groups and beyond with his company Franklin Karp & Co. Franklin is a well-respected, recognized professional with over 30 years of business and operational expertise and is always enthusiastic about helping industry companies and people flourish through technology and human interaction. Franklin advises business leaders on how to cultivate positive relationships with teams and stakeholders to drive growth, increase revenue and improve all aspects of their business. Franklin has spent his entire career devoted to the Consumer Electronics industry in high-end retail and custom integration, working across all business stakeholders.
